Pale to mid straw with a bright green tinge.
Abundant aromas of stonefruit and rockmelon and hints of shortbread yeast characters.
An intensely up-front flavoured wine with ripe stonefruit, honeydew and rockmelon with fresh apple pie and shortbread notes from time spent maturing on yeast lees post-fermentation coming through on the middle palate. The finish is long, well balanced and gives an excellent clean lasting length.

The fruit is sourced throughout Margaret River to truly capture the distinct of the region. Flavour development was closely monitored, with the fruit harvested during the coolest part of the night to capture the freshness of the grapes.
Select Chardonnay parcels were picked at full ripeness from our vineyards located in central and northern parts of Margaret River wine growing region. The fruit was destemmed only (not crushed) before being chilled to 10°C at the winery and lightly pressed in an airbag press to minimise the pick-up of phenolics. Following fermentation, a parcel was also allowed to go through full malolactic with all parcels remaining on yeast lees to add additional texture and complexity. 20% of the blend was fermented in French oak, the final blend was stabilised and filtered only once prior to bottling.
