The history of Evans & Tate dates back to 1971 when John Evans & John Tate first planted vines in the Swan Valley. Three years later, they purchased land and planted a vineyard in Wilyabrup, in the heart of Margaret River, which they named Redbrook. In 1987 the first Evans & Tate Margaret River Classic wine was released. More than 30 years on, it remains the number one selling Margaret River wine.

Evans & Tate joined the Fogarty Hall's outstanding portfolio of wine brands in 2012 and the passion of our founders has endured. We continue to be one of Australia's best-selling and most awarded Margaret River wineries.
