Since 1972 Evans & Tate wines have held a special place in the hearts of wine drinkers both in Australia and internationally.

Evans & Tate is a story of Margaret River itself: its surf, its sun, its ancient soils and its long history of producing wines that make everyday moments feel special. The style is generous yet refined – vibrant Sauvignon Blanc, crisp Semillon blends and Chardonnay that balances fruit with finesse.

The brand has collected awards across Australia, celebrated for capturing the warmth and clarity of the region in a way that feels familiar, effortless and unmistakably Western Australian.

In the last three years alone Evans & Tate has won 44 Trophies and 132 Gold Medals, firmly establishing it as one of the most highly awarded wineries in Australia.

With state-of-the-art winemaking equipment and access to high quality fruit and oak, we have been crafting award-winning Margaret River wines for over 50 years.

Our winemaking team, led by Senior Winemaker Matt Byrne and Winemaker Feleasha Prendergast, continuously strive to craft elegant wines which exhibit distinct regional characteristics and intense purity of fruit.

As Senior Winemaker, Matt has played a pivotal role in driving the style and quality of our award-winning portfolio of wines. Under his stewardship, Evans & Tate has enjoyed outstanding wine show success through an emphasis on site selection, vineyard management and wine style evolution. In 2023 alone, our wines were awarded 20 Trophies and 45 Gold Medals, firmly establishing Evans & Tate as one of the most highly awarded wineries in Australia.
