redbrook tops the evans & tate points in the halliday wine companion 2020
The Redbrook Reserve and Estate ranges drew very high praise from James Halliday in the recently-released Halliday Wine Companion 2020, scoring the highest points for Evans & Tate in an impressive tally that saw nine wines score 90 points or more. The strength of these fabulous scores also ensured that Evans & Tate retained its 'Five Red Star' winery rating, recognising an "outstanding winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity".
Senior Winemaker, Matt Byrne was thrilled with such great recognition for the wines:
“Over my 19 years with Evans & Tate, I have seen a gradual refinement and grace at the core of our premium wines and it is exciting to see them so highly recognised. This quality flows through to our other ranges which all over-deliver at their price point as evidenced by the scores achieved.”
Evans & Tate General Manager, Paul Dargue, was also keen to highlight the great work of the winemaking team:
“It is extremely rewarding for our team to receive such high recognition for our recently released Redbrook Reserve and Estate wines. It is a testament to their hard work and commitment to ensuring Evans & Tate is at the leading edge of quality in Margaret River.”
